Program Evaluation

Program evaluations are intended to identify best practices, promote continuous improvement, evaluate eligibility, and determine the success of workforce programs. These evaluations follow a phase-based model for performing evaluations, which include, but are not limited to; Pre-implementation, Accountability, Program Refinement, Achieving Objectives, and Program Impact phases. Each phase will rely on specific actions designed to produce a concentrated and condensed analysis, resulting in the consistent reports available here.

There are three primary categories for program evaluations included in this process:

  1. KANSASWORKS State Board Strategic Goals Evaluations (i.e. Analysis and progress evaluation as relates to the current objectives and goals approved by the KANSASWORKS State Board.)
  2. Program Specific Evaluations (i.e. WIOA Titles I and III, Job Service, My Reemployment (MRP), ReEmployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA), Registered Apprenticeship, etc.)
  3. Topic Specific Evaluations (i.e. question-driven, single-focused, and non-program specific).
