Economic Information
The Kansas Economic Overview Reports present in-depth information that is specific to the three defined local workforce development areas. The local areas are as follows:
Kansas WorkforceONE – Western Kansas, Northeast Kansas, Southeast Kansas
Workforce Partnership – Greater Kansas City Region
Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas – South Central Kansas
The reports contain area-specific information pertaining to the demographic profile (including age, race/ethnicity, educational attainment, economic characteristics, etc.), employment trends, the unemployment rate, average annual wage trends, the cost-of-living index for the region in comparison with the state of Kansas and the USA, the industry snapshot and clusters, occupation snapshot, and the educational level. The information provided is helpful in identifying the strengths in the specified regions of Kansas and in Kansas as a whole. Please click on the links below to read the individual reports.
